Job-hunting in nonprofit marketing & communications

Hi friends πŸ‘‹πŸ»

Finding the right job in nonprofit marketing & communications is hard! I have a list of job boards I often share with folks that are looking for work, looking for a change, or trying to break into the sector for the first time. This week I'm sharing that list here. If you have more resources to share with nonprofit marcomms job-hunters, let me know!

I have this list of job-hunting resources that lives on my computer, and I figured it would make more sense to share this resource online rather than having it just live in my notes. Yesterday I published it as a resource on the Blue Hills Digital website. You can grab that link here.

I'm also copying this below! I hope you find it helpful if you're looking for your next gig. And please forward this to your #OpenToWork friends.

Most include a much wider selection of positions in different specialities, so use the filters to narrow down to marcomms jobs. Many also include a filter for remote vs. in-person positions.

Until next time ✨

Hi friends πŸ‘‹πŸ» This week, I want to share one story from the mountain of thousands of government cuts we're enduring currently – a cut that relates to making websites better. There's a lesson here about whether these government cuts are really about efficiency (spoiler alert, they're not). And there are some powerful resources that are still available for us to use, despite the dismantling of the 18F team. Want links to recent emails or a sign-up link to share? Hi friends πŸ‘‹πŸ» As part of a recent project, I've been helping a client select their first online donation platform platform. Wading through all the possible vendor options and presenting a shortlist of options was a challenge, so I've written up my process in the hope that it will help other orgs that are wrestling with the same questions!
